North Cheshire Jewish Nursery operates an open door policy, which means parents/carers are welcome in the nursery at any time.

We also respect parents/carers as the first educators of their children and actively encourage their involvement in the daily life of the nursery.

Staff will always do their utmost to make time to speak to parents/carers whenever they need us to and will arrange appointments, at a mutually convenient time, for situations that need a longer discussion or additional information/help.

"My son is my 3rd son to go through NCJN. Despite the fact that we have moved area, there was no question about him going to NCJN as all my children have thrived there.

He doesn’t cry at all when he gets dropped off and goes to Elise and Claire happily. Babies and toddlers cannot lie about how they’re feeling, the fact that he happily goes into nursery without so much as a whimper suggest strongly to me how happy, settled, safe and secure he is.

His speech has come on since he has been at nursery, and he has learnt to feed himself and become more independent.

There is a genuine feeling of care and warmth at the nursery. I know that my son is not just a number and that the staff and managers have taken the time to get to know him and show genuine care and compassion for him.

"Entrusting the care of your child to anyone else is always done with trepidation, however right from Day 1 we were reassured that NC nursery was a caring and nurturing environment, with the best interests of the children in mind.

We love getting the regular updates from the Parent Portal, and a rundown of the day at pick-up time, as well as the regular facebook updates and photos which are so delightful to see - especially when any mum guilt kicks in! The indoor and outdoor activities, abundance of learning opportunities, and Jewish education received are all second to none, and far exceed anything that could be achieved at home!

It's commendable how well the nursery has adapted to the pandemic; I do hope the Shabbat zooms will long continue post pandemic though! Thank you for all you do!"
