We are pleased to offer government-funded childcare hours for eligible families. These funded hours help make early education more accessible and may include:
15 hours of Universal Funding for all 3–4-year-olds
15 hours Extended (30 hours) Funding for eligible working families
Funded places for some 2-year-olds
30 hours for working families of 9mths - 2 year-olds (as part of the government’s expanded offer)
Funded hours cover the early years education element only.
While government funding supports early education, it does not cover the full cost of delivering high-quality childcare. To maintain our enhanced learning environment, qualified staffing, and enriching experiences, certain extras are chargeable.
Below is a clear breakdown of our additional charges:
Our nursery provides healthy, balanced food freshly prepared each day:
Breakfast – £3.00
Lunch – £6.00
Snacks – £2.00
Tea – £5.00
These meal costs are not included in government funding.
These items are used daily to support children’s comfort, hygiene, and safety:
Wipes, suncream, spare clothes and bedding – £1.00 per day
Funding does not cover consumables, and these charges help us maintain consistent, high-quality supplies for all children.
We offer a rich calendar of experiences throughout the year that go beyond the funded curriculum:
Festivals and cultural celebrations
Special occasions and themed days
Shabbat activities
Local walks
Additional enrichment sessions
These activities enhance children’s learning and help create meaningful memories and are charged at £2 per day
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, we maintain enhanced security measures. We ask for a contribution of:
£6.00 per day
This helps support these essential operational costs.
